Puppy Application

1st Step - At Cajun Girl Kennels our top priority is ensuring each puppy is placed in a loving and compatible home. To help us get to know potential families better we ask for some information about your lifestyle and expectations. This process allows us to prioritize the well-being of our puppies while fostering lasting connections between us and our new Cajun Girl Kennels families. To be put on the puppy pick list for our current litter or waitlist for future litters please complete our puppy application. You can use the "Apply For A Puppy Today" button on the top of our Home page or click on the link below. We will review your application, reach out with any questions we may have, and notify you once approved.

2nd Step - Once your application has been approved, a completed Puppy Reservation Deposit Contract (see Puppy Contracts for more details), and a non-refundable puppy deposit of $300 are now required to ensure your spot on the pick/waitlist. 

Please, kindly check with your partner, landlord, roommate, children, and bank account before submitting your deposit ;)

3rd Step - Puppy picks! AFTER TEMPERMENT TESTING HAS BEEN COMPLETED (typically between 6-7 weeks old), the picklist is first come, first serve (first on the list is first to pick and so on down the line). Except in the case of a family inquiring about a service dog in which case said family(s) will be provided with the puppy that best fits their needs. Picks will resume in deposit order after said puppy(s) have been placed.

If there are no available spots on the picklist you can request to be put on the waitlist for an upcoming litter. If you do not receive a puppy from the litter you applied to (due to limited puppies born) you have the option to be moved the to next upcoming waitlist.

Completed Puppy Contract and payment in full are due at time of scheduled pickup (delivery options are available). If you want to make your payment in full, please click the link below. A 2.9% processing fee by Stripe has been applied.
